Worst..Beach..EVER
Happy Friday! Hope you all have a great weekend!
We had a few hours in between Amy's classes today so we decided to walk down to the beach. It's about a fifteen minute walk from where she lives and along the way you pass the school..
Along the way you pass over a small bridge with a stream running underneath...looks pretty nice
One of the apartment complexes near the school. They're all painting in tropical colors and I'll take some more photos to show this. The construction is pretty rudimentary and it appears that everything is mostly built by block and concrete rather than framed with wood.
Just a few local shops here. I like the local 7/11 shop they have here in the top left of photo.
The beach was gorgeous and surprisingly not overcrowded like a typical beach in SoCal. In fact there were only a few other people at the time. It was truly resort like being close to the tropical trees and plants and then right up close with the dark sand and water. Getting into the water was the best part. It was about 80 degrees; not too hot and definitely not too cold. The visibility is pretty good and we plan on going snorkeling one of these days. Needless to say, I will be coming back to the beach.
