Candid Cadence.
My travel time has passed. For a few of you, this is unknown. Ejiro said that he needed 'closure' to my travels.
After Thailand my travels ended somewhat prematurely. I booked a flight to San Diego while sitting in my hotel in New York. Here I rest. As of this point, if I had a dollar in my pocket I would leave tomorrow.
I've experience and learned a lot from my travels. I must admit the transition back was not easy. You gain things, perspectives, etc. and at the same time you lose something. Reflecting upon this I'm not sure if one offsets the other. The only certainty I have at this point is that the sun will rise tomorrow..

Chiang Mai, and Riding Up the Mountains

Imperial Wall of Chiang Mai

We rented some scooters and headed North up the mountains.

A Temple towards the top of the mountain

This picture is great. You have two monks riding a bike, and the guy's helmet on the right says 'beer' on the back.

Train Ride to Chiang Mai
Ok so these posts are going to be a bit old but I not have wifi to upload some phhotos.
Took the overnight bus from Koh Samui yesterday starting at 12 noon. I just arrived back in Bangkok at 5:30 am. Needless to say I'm a bit tired. Also my forehead is fried from the boatride. Here's some posts for now, will write more later.

The clouds and the sky were surreal. I honestly have never seen such a beautiful
sky before. Many variations of the richest blues, and the clouds appeared to be fake.
The photos don't do it justice.

The trainride was awesome, especially hanging outside of the train and seeing the views.
